Cabin Trip

This past weekend we took an amazing trip with Pam's family up to a cabin around Eagar AZ . Talk about some beautiful views, pretty country, and a lot of driving. The cabin we stayed at was great Jon did a wonderful job of remodeling it. James kept us toasty with a fire in the fireplace and Pam and I roasted hot dogs for everyone on the fire. It felt like we were really camping, but better. We were able to go sledding twice at two different hills. Both days were sunny and warm which is the only way to go sledding. Brody liked sledding the first day, but wasn't so thrilled the second. I don't think he liked being bundled up and not able to move much. Everyone had a great time and we got some awesome footage on video of train wrecks and flying bodies. Chase would be the king of that!!
We were able to celebrate my b-day while we were there. I'm not a huge fan of cake so Pam's family bought me a twinkie and put a candle in it. That was the best kind of cake I could ever ask for. I couldn't stop laughing because it was perfect. James gave me a camera/camcorder for my birthday which I'm very excited about. Brody is not playing with this one. Overall it was a wonderful birthday and I'm grateful to my family for celebrating it with me. They are the best!! I also want to thank all my fam and friends who called, emailed, facebooked, etc. to wish me a happy birthday you guys are great!!
We only had one downfall to the trip which was a flat tire on our car. We were fortunate enough to have been on an Indian reservation at the time so we got it fixed for $10. Not to shabby if you ask me. Thanks again to Pam's fam for letting us hangout with them during their spring break we had a great time. Those will be memories that will last a long time.
